The Driving Range feature offers a ‘heat map’ for every hole, which shows where shots landed on previous rounds. The automatic shot tracking also enhances existing features of the watch, such as the Driving Range feature, by providing the app with more data (as it’s activated automatically). This function is currently limited to tracking the first shot on each hole, so users can only track their tee shots, not their entire performance. The watch features a built-in accelerometer and gyroscope to automatically detect swings to allow users to track their performance in the app without having to activate the function by hand. There is also a spare ball marker provided in the case.
